Illinois Economic Empowerment Center
The Illinois Economic Empowerment Center at SIU aims to create an inclusive business ecosystem by providing tailored small business development support to individuals and very small businesses (10 employees or fewer). In collaboration with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the center offers customized services including advising, training, mentorship, and access to strategic resources to help entrepreneurs start, grow, and sustain businesses.
