At Blue Sky Vineyard, our roots run deep in southern Illinois, and so does our Saluki pride. That’s why partnering with Saluki Market feels like a natural extension of who we are and what we believe in. Saluki Market is about alumni, students, and local entrepreneurs coming together to support one another and strengthen the communities that shaped us. Blue Sky Vineyard is proud to employ a number of Saluki alumni and current SIU students. Their passion, creativity, and work ethic are part of what makes our winery special. From the tasting room to behind the scenes, Salukis help bring our vision to life every day.
Blue Sky Vineyard is so much more than just a winery. We maintain a 13-acre vineyard, where grapes are grown and crafted into estate-grown wines that reflect the unique character of the Shawnee Hills American Viticultural Area. This region’s rolling hills, diverse soils, and climate create an exceptional environment for winemaking, making southern Illinois a truly special place to grow and produce wine. The region’s attributes, paired with the expertise and passion of our winemaker and vineyard manager, come together to produce wines that are expressive, balanced, and truly incredible.
Beyond the vineyard, Blue Sky Vineyard offers two winery suites and a stunning event pavilion, creating a destination where guests can celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. From intimate gatherings to unforgettable weddings and community events, our property is designed to be both welcoming and memorable, just like the people and partnerships that support it.
